Back in December, part of the ceiling in my dining room fell in! After 7 long months I've finally been putting the finishing touches on the repairs/repainting! -Woo hoo!- Thanks so much to Rose and Jeff for the use of their tools and 5 gallons of joint compound, Clarence for sharing his technical knowledge on texturing the ceiling, and the generous assistance of our Home Teacher, Bro. Greg Church, and his son, who spent many hours doing the initial patch/repair and mud work! I even tried a faux painting technique on the bottom of the walls, shared with me by my friend Amy Harrison... I'm pretty excited about how well it turned out! -smile-
