We thoroughly enjoyed attending Monica's first choir concert! -smile- She was able to perform 3 numbers, including an arrangement of the "Hallelujah Chorus"! She and Catheryn, (one of her best friends), were dressed alike in dresses they helped to create (with the assistance of Catheryn's mother).

We were also excited to be able to attend Alan's Holiday Dance Concert and see him perform with the ballroom dance team! He was in 2 of the numbers: a Lindy Hop entitled, "Rock This Town", and an amazing blacklight number entitled, "Fasten Your Seatbelts". -smile-

Melinda was all decked out in Christmas colors for her special concert! She had a beautiful smile as she excitedly sang several songs based on the holiday theme. Two of my favorites were the "Reindeer Rap", and a selection from, "The Nutcracker", (in which she was able to play the cymbals)!

Although a little nervous, Monica looked radiant in her Christmas Orchestra concert. She works hard and practices diligently most days, -smile- , so that she can be confident in her music. It was another short and sweet concert for us to watch!

The final two concerts happened on the same night! Spencer's band concert was first, and he was dressed in his "concert black" attire. I thought he sounded wonderful on his french horn! (Of course it just happens to be one of my very favorite instruments! -grin-)

Later that night, Alan performed in his school choir/band concert... He sang with the Chamber Choir, (including some pre-show caroling), the Acapella Choir,

and played his clarinet in the Wind Symphony! -Whew!- What a night!

There's nothing quite like beautiful Christmas music to help one feel the Spirit of Christmas!
